William P. Spencer, DMD

Dr. Spencer grew up in Clearwater, Florida and is a graduate of Dunedin High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida then went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. After graduation, he joined the US Army Dental Core and moved to El Paso, Texas. While in the service he managed the continuing education program for dentists on the base and was trained in the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. After finishing his commitment with the Army, Dr. Spencer returned to school to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the University of Texas in San Antonio to provide Implants and IV Sedation.

Outside of the office, Dr. Spencer teaches at the University of Florida’s AEGD residency, helping to prepare the next generation of dentists. Dr. Spencer enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Madison, daughter Claire and beagle Violet.

Dr. Spencer is passionate about guiding people through overcoming their fear of the dentist. He provides several different levels of sedation and helps patients to get the treatment they need without the stress. Dr. Spencer is accepting new patients at both the Clearwater and Dunedin locations.
